I use Evernote as a way of keeping searchable lists and notes about of stuff all in one place, eg time lines for things like long term projects so I know where I'm at with something or things like the kids birthdays, where I last put my passport all the way through to books and films I would like to read/watch. I have a list of youtube documentaries that I want to watch whist making dinner that pop up at 6 every evening so I don't have to decide what to half watch when I'm cooking.
