Stumbled onto a competitor to Uber and Lyft, although I can't tell if workers have 100% control over their hours, and it's only in New York City currently: https://drivers.coop https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=26588607 It's getting too hard to keep up with everything, especially living in the northwest where I might be a year or two behind big cities. I'm starting to feel like I'm running against the wind so hard, even with my own constituents in the tech community, that I question if there's even a point anymore. Nobody seems to get anything that I'm saying, so why bother saying it. The status quo just keeps crushing down harder and harder and I fear that we're running out of time to get free of it before the singularity starts arriving around 2030.
