Trust Wallet

After downloading Authy, download Trust Wallet for your phone. As I said in my previous post, "Not your keys, not your coin" should be a mental idea you hold close. Cryptocurrencies are data, and even after you've purchased your coin, you don't "own" the coin UNTIL it has hit your wallet. This is the only way to ensure that your coin is safe. Yes, it can still appreciate and depreciate while it sits in your wallet. You'll need to create a new wallet within your account for each type of crypto you buy. This is because Bitcoin and Ethereum aren't like American and Canadian dollars: they are programmed data and do fundamentally different things. WHAT YOU MUST DO is write down your wallet keys and keep them in a safe place (like a safe). DO NOT store them on a computer or phone, or anywhere you can have them hacked or otherwise lost. Remember the story of the guy who lost 20 million bucks in Bitcoin because he lost his keys? YEAH keep them safe.

As I said, you'll first need a reputable place to buy your cryptocurrency. Shakepay and Newton are both quite popular in Canada, and both offer exposure to Bitcoin and Ethereum. If you're looking for Dogecoin, I can't help you. I don't have any of it personally.
