I'm going back and forth between ChatGPT itself, Bing AI (conversational with search results but often inaccurate) and Andi AI (more accurate and fast but skips using AI when it's not sure, and no follow up questioning). Source: almost 2 years ago
Andisearch.com - Interesting / Underdeveloped. Source: almost 2 years ago
Like quirky and minimal, kind of like how google used to be. Right now I'm using andisearch.com and it's okay, but slow. Source: almost 2 years ago
** You could easily replace that with andisearch.com, which has a beautiful interface and uses A.I. To boot. I think the results also use Bing or Google, since they match. \\. Source: about 2 years ago
Apart from ChatGPT, I use Andi Search https://andisearch.com/ for looking up and researching companies for work. Unlike the search engine that sort of rhymes with 'noodle', it gives me the required information straight, no clickbait ads or irrelevant results. Source: about 2 years ago
I understand. I recently searched for the exact same thing on several search engines and found virtually no differences. I do like the Bing layout for results and wish the true alternatives with their own bots would change the layouts to be pleasing and easy to quickly pick the site that matches what I want, without all the listcicles. I also found this new one that is pleasing and has different layout options,... Source: about 2 years ago
It is reliable for me. Here is a test to compare. I did a search for 'google chatgpt clone'. AndiSearch generates a good summary for every result. https://andisearch.com/?q=google+chatgpt+clone Maybe Kagi has HN hug of death but it returns the 'no summary available' message for me now. - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago
Fwiw I use AndiSearch and they already have a great summarizer integrated directly into search results that they launched last week. There is a Summarize button on every result card that can show a summary. The summaries are much faster. And they are clearly much higher quality. Unlike Kagi, they don't spam every HN post that mentions search with shill comments. And unlike Kagi, it is free and anyone can use it.... - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago
I don't know the answer. I have also started using Perplexity.ai and andisearch.com. Both are really good at basic. One site describes perplexity as:. Source: over 2 years ago
I can recommend this site that uses actual sources -> https://andisearch.com/. Source: over 2 years ago
Tbh I'm not totally in love with google results either, I have recently been playing with https://you.com and https://andisearch.com and for the first time feel like I might not have to use google forever, especially because google search results are literally almost useless without adding "reddit". I'm not the person you're responding to, but I hold the opinion that economics isn't a science, that it's akin to numerology, and that it's social role is that of modern-day court astrologers. > In economics, what is "utility"? So far, [this new search engine](https://www.ycombinator.com/companies/andi ), ["Andi"](https://andisearch.com/ ), seems pretty neat. Looks like they're going for a better, AI-assisted Google.. Which just seems like something that really ought to be done. - Source: Hacker News / about 3 years ago
I like you.com - it's private, fast and has some cool app integrations. Andisearch.com launched on yc this year, it's conversational. Slow right now but may be that'll change in a few months. Source: about 3 years ago
As a coder, I don't think there is anything I could read anywhere that would make me smile more. Thank you seriously! We've had many requests for enabling URL history and shareable URLs. It's not exposed in the UI yet but you can do this manually, and it's also used to set a browser default. https://andisearch.com/?q=hello But we really do need to add a "share search" button, and an "enable browser history"... - Source: Hacker News / about 3 years ago
