  For someone reason today whenever I goto 1337x.to it has a constant popup of "download without vpn" "download free vpn" . I already have a vpn and obviously have no intention to press this sketchy button but I also prefer 1337x to other torrent sites. Is anyone else having this issue? I can't access any torrents now...   I normally would just download from piratebay.org, but recently when I've gone there all I get is popups and when I try to download it tries to do a windows installer instead of a torrent. So I stopped using that and looked around and heard about 1337x.to, but I also just seem to get a bunch of sketchy popups when I click on anything (asking me to allow notifications).   When not providing all dependencies yourself, you might suffer from people deleting the packages you depend on (IMHO a very rare scenario). If it is really that critical (hint: usually it isn't), create a local mirror of Pypi (full or only the packages you need). • What do I do with large "asset" files?

  If these "assets" have an independent release schedule I would treat them separately (especially if they are externally provided). If they are not built from source then treat them as artefacts, they don't belong in git. You can store the in an artefact repository (like Artifactory of Nexus) or (as u/nekokattt points out) in something like S3. Source: over 1 year ago
