The problem here is that academia.edu is not perse a place where authors will upload their papers; it rather functions as a large academic PDF exchange. I have messaged the uploader a while back, but have not received a response. Source: 12 months ago

Nice! I used https://wiki.systemcrafters.net/emacs/org-roam/ for a while but switched to LogSeq (https://logseq.com/) because org-roam was buggy. Sorry, but _what exactly_ «it seems to do» from your point of view? My «second brain» now is almost 300Mb of text, pictures, sound files, PDF and other stuff. As I already mentioned, it contains tables, mathematical formulae, sheet music, cross-references, code samples, UML diagrams and graphs in Graphviz format.
