• Making an Adventure game at work, would love to get peoples opinions on the genre

  Obviously I’m committed to the genre since I’m here! I used to follow adventure game developers and fans when I was on twitter. I now lurk on a few discords. Unfortunately the review and news site I’ve relied on since I was a child, Adventure Gamers, is in some funding/ownership flux, but it’s still online.   Other details: I am pretty sure this would have been a free download of some kind-not a paid game. It also would have likely been an independent project. I lived on AGS games/Big Blue Cup and adventuregamers.com in those days-playing all those freeware point and click type games...so I probably stumbled across this somewhere around there. • Grim Fandango - does it get better?

  I had the same trouble with Grim Fandago which is for some people the best adventure game ever (cf adventuregamers.com). Well sorry I couldn't get into it. It was one of the game that made me realize how much I cared about the scumm style pixel art adventure game. I can't stand 3d in adventure games. Source: about 1 year ago

• Where to find actual good Netflix torrents?

  Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I understand, if you just go to netflix.com and subscribe to their 4k content you don't get the 4k video, you need a streaming box or some kind of dedicated program. Perhaps to stop pirates... But think about how many poor sods are paying for quality they don't even get. Source: 7 months ago

• Cant access some sites

  Anyone have issues accessing some sites? Just to let everyone know its happening on every device in my home not just one. For example I cannot get to imdb.com I get 403 error but I can get to netflix.com. I can get to all sites if I connect to a vpn first. So its something with atts network but not sure what.   Man, been clicking the dvd.netflix.com on my folder to check on queue at least once a week out of habit but deep inside knowing it's not coming back. Muscle memory sucks. Source: 8 months ago

• Trim extension (Chrome, Firefox) not showing Metacritc reviews anymore

  I love the Trim extension for Chrome/Firefox to show reviews of Netflix movies inside the netflix.com site. However, several weeks/months ago, the Metacritic reviews stopped showing up. The developers haven't replied on the extension review system, but I'm wondering if anyone knows why it's happening. Source: 8 months ago
