Well, I thought of that, too, but it was 100% through https://affirm.com as I can see the loan through the app and have viewed it through their website. I dont believe that brintoro couldve gotten my information as the loan is directly through their service, not brintoros. Itd be the same on any service like amazon, id imagine. Unfortunately, I can't help much because I keep all of my development devices updated to their latest version. If I were you, during/after all this, I'd hit up affirm.com, and buy myself a new MacBook. Or maybe ask your employer to upgrade for you because it's obviously important for development. If you get an order on any of them double down on it. Cold reach-out works, but you've to show something to them as a portfolio. Instagram is a good place, as I did. Source: 12 months ago
If my subscribers and views were multiplied by 100, it would have become a part-time job. I would be declaring income on my tax form, and keeping track of expenses. I might be considering hiring part-time editors on freelancer.com, but since they'd be independent contractors, they'd be just an expense to me. They'd be responsible for their own taxes. I worked on freelancer.com for 3 months doing mostly side gigs. WIth the payment, it wasn't much of an issue for me. The first payment indeed, it was more "special", as in, it took 2 months until I got the money in my account. But any other payment after that, were processed within days (at worst). I once posted on reddit my thoughts on freelancer.com and I assume, that it does not have a high reputation among other redditors. Someone who hired freelancers on that very site said, that clearing a payment is very difficult on that site, which I could understand. So do you have also faced other problems on that side? I am also waiting for payment since two weeks. Other than that, I think that the layout looks... Source: 12 months ago
