I’ve always been a fan of open source software and I’ve always wanted to contribute to the community in some way. I thought that creating a list of open source alternatives to proprietary software and applications would be a great way to give back to the community.

I'm developing my own crypto trading and analysis software right now and I'm trying to standardize all my tools to use the same API, so comparing the ones available is important to me. I think a more general one for broader selection of open source software would also be nice to have.
