I'm having the exact same issue. I've figured out a temporary workaround, though. If you look at the URL, it doesn't say https://Anime-owl.net/watch/show/episode, it says https://portablegaming.co/watch/show/episode. Replace "https://portablegaming.co" with "https://anime-owl.net" and you should have a usable temporary if annoyingly tedious fix. Hopefully this gets resolved soon... Source: over 1 year ago
I been using anime owl and it sounds just like what you're talking about. Https://anime-owl.net/. Source: over 1 year ago
We have a plan to download files from torrent sites like nyaa and add them to our streaming site animeowl.net .But the biggest challenge so far is to be able to map the data on nyaa (usually only data is the torrent file name) with MyAnime list info. Does anyone have an idea how can we do this automatically? Source: almost 3 years ago
I agree, to keep our site animeowl.net alive, we also put a lot of effort into hiding, but let's say we also learned it the hard way. lol. Source: almost 3 years ago
In episode 2677 at some where between 8:00 to 8:30 seconds in, a marine soldier tries to contact spandam via a den den mushi, but that den den mushi has mr 3 written on it! Is it the same for you? I'm watching on animeowl.net with adc-heaven fansubs so check if it's the same on other websites. Anyways, what do you think this could mean? Source: almost 3 years ago
Perhaps. I am looking at https://saidit.net/, Quora, and other platforms as well. Source: about 1 year ago
What's the criteria you'd need to be met for "something comparable"? Because I'd say running our own https://saidit.net/ site would be pretty identical. Source: about 1 year ago
I love IRC but it serves a slightly different purpose. It isn't threaded and it sacrifices permanency for instantaneousness. In my opinion, a forums and chat rooms compliment each other. Saidit is one good Reddit alternative that implements IRC. It's based on Reddit's code but with some modifications. Every page has an embedded IRC box specific to that subcommunity. For Reddit alternatives, it looks like https://saidit.net/ (https://github.com/libertysoft3/saidit) and https://phuks.co/ (https://github.com/Phuks-co/throat) could be viable alternatives. They're open source, have the UX features we desire (threaded, voting, sorting, collapsing). Source: about 1 year ago
Someone already did it - it's called saidit and it works well but very few people have gone there so far. Source: about 1 year ago
