What’s the utilization of the SSD when you download things? You can see it in task manager and it will just give a percentage from 0% - 100%. It could be that your download is slow purely because the SSD can’t write fast enough. What is the SSD too such as brand, capacity, etc. As some SSD’s are just fake. How old is it? In task manager, sort the processes by disk usage to see if something is hogging the drive. Also may be worth running a benchmark for the SSD to see if its even running as one would expect.
