  • After discovering OSM, and becoming obsessed with exploring in my free time, I've mapped practically every house, business, and building in my town, as well as plenty of smaller details.
I'm using http://bigpaua.com/arcapp on my iPhone, and even the GPX track it records in the background is good enough to do some mapping, for example when I'm hiking or biking. Source: over 2 years ago

  • Gender politics is getting way out of hand.
Check webmd.com definition of gender affirming care for minors. It includes, among other things, top and bottom surgeries which puts those minors on a path of lifelong medication. There are some good resources out there, such as this and the cancer reddit. Source: about 1 year ago

If you're not comfortable doing that, at least check reputable web sites like drugs.com, webmd.com, mayoclinic.com. Google quitting... Source: about 1 year ago
  • Anyone know the life expectancy of someone with celiacs who eats gluten?
Medscape.com is a really nice site with medical information (more physician-oriented compared to consumer-oriented sites such as webmd.com and the like; anyone can get a free membership). Here https://emedicine.medscape.com/article/171805-overview#a2, under Epidemiology, they note a four-fold increase in all-cause mortality among people with undiagnosed celiac disease.
