The closest I've found to a useable Trinity sheet is on astraltabletop.com where they have the quickstarts pre-configured. The sheets there are pretty primitive and irksome to use, though. Source: almost 3 years ago
I have a few recommendations based on your concerns. Find a VTT that fits your playstyle. Let the players keep their own character sheets. Have everyone roll real dice. Only use a VTT for sharing maps and placing tokens. owlbear.rodeo or astraltabletop.com have clean, simple interfaces. With a little practice, you can draw maps using owlbear as if you were in person. It has no automation so you don't need... Source: almost 3 years ago
I'd recommend putting it up on Astral as well. Source: almost 3 years ago
Check out Astral Tabletop https://astraltabletop.com. It's like a much more modern Roll20 in active development. Source: about 3 years ago
Astral Tabletop https://astraltabletop.com currently has my attention. A free account is somewhat limited, and I can imagine you may need to only have uploaded whatever assets you need for the next session due to space limitations, but it's easier to use and way more pretty than anything else I've tried. For the past two days, I have been unable to access xmage.de. Is the server offline? Is it dead? No one has said anything. Does anyone know what is going on???? I hope this is not the end!!! Source: over 1 year ago
Launcher hasn't worked for a week, can't reach xmage.de, and isitdownrightnow agrees. What's going on? Source: over 1 year ago
You can use Xmage or Cockatrice as dedicated online free platforms, or Untap for in-browser gameplay (Untap has no built in rules engine, so be careful that you're following the rules!). There is also a small but dedicated group that play on Tabletop Simulator if you have it. Source: over 1 year ago
Lastly there's XMage which allows for PVP with rules enforcement. It's a bit resource intensive though, so I would probably try the other two first if you're interested. Source: almost 2 years ago
Yeah only an idiot would play on the official mtga client paying so much for decks when third party clients have them for free, like http://xmage.de/ https://github.com/magefree/mage. Source: almost 2 years ago
