The Top Alternatives to Bill.com
Bill.com is suitable for slower-growth small businesses with low payment volumes and limited remittances capabilities. The average revenue per customer of Bill.com is $1,500. Therefore, many AP automation capabilities are not available via Bill.com, so you need to manage them manually or outside of Bill.com.

They offer a solution for accounts payable and receivable without a sign-up fee, subscription fee, or fees for most transactions. Best Accounts Payable Software for 2022
Why we like it: Bill.com offers multiple pricing options, including plans starting at $39 a month, which may make it more accessible for many small-business owners. You’ll get a centralized inbox for receiving invoices. The software can read invoices, capture the data on them and even flag if something looks off. However, you’ll need to upgrade from the lowest-priced plan to...

  • Freelancers: Do you allow your clients to pay via card? Processing fees hurt
I mean.... This is how it is everywhere... You could use bill.com but it still has a monthly fee, however if youre sending multiple invoices like so, the monthly fee is paid for in just 2 clients of yours... Honestly a $66 processing fee for $2K isn't bad... Venmo/Paypal gifted is fee-less but not recommended... Source: 7 months ago
  • Bank rejected £850 payment from bill.com - both companies saying they can't do anything
Bill.com have just gotten back to me saying they haven't received the money back (which nationwide said would have only taken 5 days from the 23rd November) and that SWIFT have told them that they did infact have my full name on the transaction and not my initials or anything else (unlike what nationwide told me). • Best campaign platforms for launching an influencer marketing agency?
What platforms do you use to collect payment from our clients? I was thinking of using bill.com or stripe for now until I find a new method and then pay out the influencers. Source: 10 months ago
  • What do you use for online credit card processing?
We use bill.com for both our AP and AR. All online, customer can pay with a link, generates all our monthly invoices automatically, easy to generate and send hardware and project invoices on demand, can be used to pay your vendors as well, syncs with Quickbooks, customers can be set up for auto-pay via credit card (charge to us is 2.9%), you can charge a convenience fee if you want. Customers can also pay via ACH... Source: 11 months ago

  • Email Followup Solution?
I'll update this if I find more. For now, this seems to be a partial solution. It's a Gmail add on (except I don't use Gmail) that adds reminders. The options when setting reminders include cancelling it if someone replies, and to remind everyone in the thread. If you combine those two, it seems like — if you use Gmail's web client and have $23/month you're dying to get rid of — a decent way to add the feature. Source: over 1 year ago
