• Lots of queries from my router

  I recently got the Wavlink AX3000 mesh router to replace my service provided router so that I can set my own preferred DNS server (running Pihole on my Rasberry Pi). Since hooking up this router I've been seeing anywhere from 6-12 DNS queries per minute to bing.com of A and AAAA type. • Odd DNS behavior

  This seems to work, except when it doesn't. If I run an extended test at dnsleaktest.com from my laptop, it shows I'm only using NextDNS. But if I run it from my iPad I get a bunch of IPv4 AT&T DNS servers returned. I have verified that my iPad is configured to only use the RB5009 as its DNS server. Can anyone tell me why or how it might be picking up all these other DNS servers? Source: 9 months ago

• Xiaomi phones wifi connected but no internet, but other devices have internet (thru wireguard gateway). Why?

  On my Windows PC and my ios devices, if I connect them to the separate wifi, they have internet access through such gateway (checking it with dnsleak.com and dnsleaktest.com ); but my two Android phones (Xiaomi Poco F1 and Mi10T pro), on the same wifi connection have no internet access.
