I recently got the Wavlink AX3000 mesh router to replace my service provided router so that I can set my own preferred DNS server (running Pihole on my Rasberry Pi). Since hooking up this router I've been seeing anywhere from 6-12 DNS queries per minute to bing.com of A and AAAA type. You're better off checking out something like Orion (https://kagi.com/orion/) or SigmaOS (https://sigmaos.com) if you're looking for a Safari like experience. Both of them are built on top of WebKit (same as Safari) but they support Chrome + Firefox extensions. Source: 7 months ago
