The simple, yet powerful encryption and decryption web extension facilitates the storage and transmission of private data (passwords, seed phrases, etc.). The patented solution helps users achieve unparalleled peace of mind for their digital profiles.   Our solution does not store your data on your behalf nor through third-party servers, or any other centralised means. Instead, it encrypts your data and then fragments that encrypted data across a multi-cloud storage solution chosen and controlled by you. Because of the fragmentation and decentralisation of data storage in this manner, it is virtually impossible for all cloud storage locations to be compromised at the same time.

How Cyqur helps users achieve peace of mind

🟣 Secure storage & Data Sovereignty: User access credentials are duplicated, fragmented, encrypted, and scattered across multiple cloud storage locations that the user alone 100% owns and controls, all the while ensuring your data fragments remain encrypted at rest. Cyqur does not have access to any of your data and it doesn’t scrape or share user browsing data.   🟣 Proprietary approach: Safeguards user data by using an immutable, automated, unique, independent, public blockchain proof of record for every access credential secured. User digital profile succession planning is ensured through Custodian of Last Resort.  🟣 Breach protection: In case of a breach, hackers only access incomplete and useless data, while you retain uninterrupted complete access to your user credentials that remain protected and safe.  🟣 Crypto wallet protection: Specifically designed to provide next-level peace of mind by securing all access credentials to your valuable wallets, including your previous seed words.  🟣 Uninterrupted access and credential sharing: Users retain complete and uninterrupted access to their most important data, even offline.   CERTIFICATIONS: UK & US Patented 2023 ISO 27001 pending Q3 2024

Questions and Answers

As answered by people managing bitwarden and Cyqur.

What makes your product unique?

Cyqur's answer:

• Fragmentation and Distribution: Cyqur uses patented technology to fragment and distribute encrypted data across three user-owned cloud locations. This ensures that even if a breach occurs, the stolen data is incomplete and useless. • Blockchain Verification: Cyqur employs blockchain technology to create an immutable proof of record for added security and transparency. • Full Data Control: Users maintain full control and ownership of their data, stored across multiple cloud locations they choose, eliminating reliance on third-party services. • Protection from Data Scraping: By fragmenting data, Cyqur makes it difficult for unauthorized entities to extract and exploit sensitive information. • Business Continuity: Cyqur ensures uninterrupted access to data even if one cloud provider experiences downtime, enhancing business continuity and reducing risks associated with single-point storage solutions.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Cyqur's answer:

• Superior Security: Unlike traditional password managers that store data in one location, Cyqur disperses data across multiple locations, ensuring that a breach in one location does not compromise the entire data set.

• Resilience to Cloud Provider Outages: Cyqur's multi-cloud strategy provides uninterrupted access even during cloud service disruptions.

• Advanced Protection against Unauthorized Exploitation: Cyqur’s fragmentation method makes it highly resistant to data scraping and unauthorized data harvesting.

• Blockchain Integration: The use of blockchain for proof of record adds an extra layer of security and transparency that many competitors lack.

• User-Controlled Storage: Users choose and control the storage locations for their data, providing greater trust and ownership compared to competitors that store data in centralized databases.

How would you describe your primary audience?

Cyqur's answer:

• Crypto Enthusiasts: Individuals deeply immersed in the world of cryptocurrencies, NFTs, and decentralized applications, concerned about the security of their digital assets.

• DeFi Participants: Active users of decentralized finance platforms, yield farming, and crypto lending, seeking secure solutions for their private keys and seed phrases.

• Tech-Savvy Individuals: Professionals who rely on various online services and apps, both for work and personal life, and are looking for user-friendly security solutions to protect their access credentials.

• Remote Workers: Professionals who work remotely and need secure access to work-related information and collaboration tools.

• Advocates for Privacy and Decentralization: Individuals and organizations promoting user privacy, data ownership, and the decentralization of the internet.

What's the story behind your product?

Cyqur's answer:

• Founding: Cyqur was developed by Binarii Labs, an Irish company founded on September 14, 2021, by four tech enthusiasts with a common interest in data security, data sovereignty, and deep tech.

• Mission: To revolutionize data security by enabling people and enterprises to take back control, ownership, and secure custody of their data.

• Innovation: Cyqur emerged from the need to address the limitations and security flaws of existing password managers, focusing on advanced encryption, fragmentation, and multi-cloud storage solutions to ensure data integrity and security.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Cyqur's answer:

• AES 256 Encryption: Cyqur uses Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) 256, a highly secure encryption method, to protect user data.

• Data Fragmentation and Duplication: After encryption, data is fragmented and duplicated, then distributed across multiple user-controlled cloud locations.

    A great password management tool

I moved from 1Password to Bitwarden about half a year ago. I never looked back, and I've never missed anything. The UI might be a touch clunkier than 1Password, but it's still good and perfectly usable on the whole. What is more, it is open-source and people can inspect its code.
