For "normal" games you could look yourself using ProtonDB regarding every game released on Steam and AreWeAntiCheatYet for most multiplayer games. If a game isn't available on Steam you have three possibilities. First if it's available on GOG, Epic Games or Amazon Gaming, you could use the Heroic Games Launcher. So I added the pdf for the player rulebook, monster manual, and command cheatsheet for the avrae discord bot found on dndbeyond.com as a tool to help run games through discord. There are countless videos on YouTube around how they play at the tabletop, but I think the best place to start would actually be dndbeyond.com. You will be locked to the basics, but you can get an idea from character building there because you can create characters and see how stats impact rolls and explore class features.
