This is essentially a watered down version of the "MVC" architecture. I use http lib of node for server and requests, cheerio for webscraping and Sendinblue for sending the emails and mongodb (atlas) for storing all of the data. You can use Xmage or Cockatrice as dedicated online free platforms, or Untap for in-browser gameplay (Untap has no built in rules engine, so be careful that you're following the rules!).
