  • The Puppeteer Language Experiment
This project tests how the browser language can be changed with Puppeteer. It implements multiple options to set the language of Chrome and checks each option against BrowserLeaks to see how it affected the JavaScript proeprties and HTTP headers available by the browser. For more information, see my article The Puppeteer Language Experiment on DEV.to. - Source: dev.to / about 2 months ago
  • The /unblock API from Browserless: dodging bot detection as a service
I'm sure that happens, but I haven't done any work with gyro data myself. There's similar logic for mouse cursor movements, there are libraries out there that will generate a natural looking curve that moves the cursor from one position to another, with imperfections that emulate human hand movement. > Why do we even need an actual device? We can emulate if we even need to and set our headers to look like we're... - Source: Hacker News / 4 months ago
  • The confusing CalyxOS-supplied Chromium
WebRTC Leak Test by BrowserLeaks. With WebRTC turned off, as it is by default in Cromite and CalyxOS Chromium, this site returns "No Leak". With Chrome, or with WebRTC turned on (possible via the site settings, which has an address bar shortcut), more information is exposed. Source: 7 months ago
  • How do I make a bare account without automatically getting suspended?
-- *Facebook is intrusive. You may need to make some adjustments to your browser settings and add some privacy extensions to stop browser fingerprinting and leaks. Source: 7 months ago
  • Setting proxy doesn't work in Quitebrowser, but it works in Firefox.
:set content.proxy socks://127.0.0.1:1055 doesn't work in Qutebrowser for me, and I can't figure out why. What's even more baffling, to me, is that https://browserleaks.com does work, but no other website would work. Source: 11 months ago

  • First EV Trip
Obviously I'm being a little sarcastic, but I'm serious as well. ABRP answers about 90% of such questions, and plugshare.com answers the remaining ones ("how reliable are the chargers at XYZ location?"). Source: 7 months ago
  • New Ariya owner, any tips?
You can check recent check-ins at those chargers and find others in https://plugshare.com. Source: 10 months ago
  • I don't have EV, but can I charge my portable power station with a Tesla charging pile in supercharger station? Besides, I can't find a place near me to recharge my battery.
HOWEVER, you can setup to charge at a J1772 Level-2 charging station which are ALL over the place and often free. Checkout plugshare.com to find them. These are essentially fancy 220v chargers and can be converted to charge power banks and onboard batteries.... The question then becomes the legality of doing it in your area. Some places are designated "EV charging only." You're not an EV. Some places, like Oregon... Source: 12 months ago
  • First time EV user - what do I need to do to ensure a good experience ?
Before taking a trip and planning to rely on public chargers, check recent checkins to make sure the chargers you plan to use are working properly and to identify backup options just in case: http://plugshare.com. Source: 12 months ago
  • What portable power station is best/cheapest to charge my Leaf?
Use plugshare.com to find EV charging stations near your gym, grocery stores, restaurants, and other places were you spend some time. Not as inexpensive or as convenient as having a charger at your parking space. But probably much cheaper and convenient then your solution. Source: about 1 year ago
