I keep a list of them, I think I originally got most of these from https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=33592990 (not OSS) * OpenBlocks - https://github.com/openblocks-dev/openblocks * Interval - https://interval.com/ * Bracket - https://www.usebracket.com/ * Budibase - https://budibase.com/ * AppSmith - https://www.appsmith.com/ * ToolJet - https://www.tooljet.com/ I only have direct experience with AppSmith. - Source: Hacker News / 6 months ago
I skipped to chapter 9 in the article ("Clogged"), and it looked like Pipes failed because it didn't have a large enough team or a well-defined mission. As a result they couldn't offer a super robust product that would lure in enterprise users. "You could not purchase some number of guaranteed-to-work Pipes calls per month" is the quote from the article. I'm the co-founder of Budibase and we've spent the last 5 years building what we believe is a better, faster, open source replacement for VB. Check it out: [1] https://budibase.com. - Source: Hacker News / 10 months ago
Budibase looks really impressive, basically a GUI frontend builder for postgres and its open source. Haven't actually deployed it, but played with the GUI builder and its nice. This way, many people can work on different articles simultaneously without worrying about potential conflicts or overwriting stuff. The only con is related to security - everyone can try to get inside, and if you forget to... - Source: dev.to / 10 months ago
PHP has a lot of top tier CMSes. IMHO bunch of them are even better than Statamic. Craft CMS (https://craftcms.com/) is a lot more mature database based CMS. Kirby (https://getkirby.com/) is better at flat-file and has a lot better admin interface. Twill (https://twillcms.com/) is better integrated in Laravel and is fully open-source. Statamic mostly feels like it's sitting besides Laravel and they call themselves... - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
You're basically looking for any CMS that supports headless mode. E.g. Strapi (https://strapi.io/, NodeJS based), CraftCMS (https://craftcms.com/, PHP based) or countless others. Source: about 1 year ago
It's built on Craft CMS. Makes the relationships between elements (a match and a player, for example) super easy. Source: over 1 year ago
Is there a reason you aren’t using an existing CMS? There’s a lot that provide all the UI functionality you are talking about and then expose it via a API to be consumed in your front end. https://craftcms.com is one option I’ve had good success with. Source: over 1 year ago
