In my experience, not using docker to build docker images is a good idea. E.g. buildah[0] with chroot isolation can build images in a GitLab pipeline, where docker would fail. It can still use the same Dockerfile though. An honorary mention goes to reWASD as well. Its a paid, but cheap, controller remapper that allows for various profiles for different games and controllers. I use this to play emulated switch games on my phone, via sunshine and moonlight, with a gamesir x2 bluetooth controller.
