Tailwind is great, but creating everything from scratch is annoying. A nice base of components which can be extended with tailwind would be great. There are a few tailwind frameworks like Flowbite, Daisy Ui, but I like Bulma, PicoCSS and Bootstrap. - Source: dev.to / 3 months ago
I would talk about building the frontend, but it is just a single page React app I built quickly. It does use a CSS library called Bulma, which is similar to tailwind and worth checking out. I did spend a day implementing a login/signup page, but this was just for the learning experience, and not what I wanted in the final product. - Source: dev.to / 3 months ago
After finding a few spare hours I decided to address the alerts and update some my dependencies. I spent several hours debugging my Gatsby site after doing some recommended npm package updates. My UI class library Bulma was not being loaded by my sass-loader module. (I later learned that they migrated to dart-sass so I guess the fix should have been a pretty easy). Oh wow, quite happy about this, for a while it seemed the project was abandoned, really glad Jeremy keeps working on this :) The new website (https://bulma.io/) also looks very slick. I'd recommend using windy.com if you want to check weather conditions across a wide area easily and quickly. That would be a good resource to check daily weather conditions to see if I80 is a safe option. Weather conditions can change quickly, and honestly there might be some days where I40 has worse weather than I80 since these things can be fairly localized. I'd say just check conditions before you leave and... Source: 7 months ago
Windy.com looks pretty cool. But just wondering if there is one specifically made to be a "weather station". Source: 9 months ago
The Windy app lets you choose from 5 models. It's also usable at https://windy.com . Learned about this app from KPIX meteorologist Darren Peck, who sometimes uses it during his on-air segments. Source: 10 months ago
Here's a reading Aug 15 at 6:19pm. Well the air outside absolutely sucks today. Filled with smoke. Going on windy.com and clicking air quality, then PM2.5 we see a huge cloud coming down from the north and of course we have a north wind today. There are 2 huge fires in northern Alberta. https://www.windy.com/-PM2-5-pm2p5?cams,pm2p5,55.553,-100.327,5,m:fcAadg7. Source: 11 months ago
