If youre going to be staying less 6 months or so, I would recommend something like splitspot or bungalow.com. They both have short term leases, but SplitSpot has much lower security deposits. You *might* have other roommates(usually college kids), but it would be more affordable than an AirBnB or hotel for 4 months. Source: about 1 year ago
I'm correct. Did you even read your bungalow.com article? It says "Most rent controlled units are older, but the laws can apply to new construction too". Yes it can affect new construction but rarely does. You might want to brush up on the reading comprehension. Source: over 1 year ago
I don’t know where you will be but this website called bungalow may help. Source: over 1 year ago
There are a lot of short term rental platforms that have popped up in the past few years. Try Landing and Bungalow -- I'm sure there are a number of others that I don't know about. Source: almost 2 years ago

I force clients who want to talk to me to book a call. I use cal.com (free) and my Google Calendar (which its linked to) only allows calls on specific days/times. I have a few "Call Blocks" where they can book. That let's me do calls in a small section of my week, with ample downtime to recover the rest of the week. I'm still learning how many calls a day I can handle. Currently anything more than 2 is too much. Source: 7 months ago
