I tried using https://cal.com for a bit but ended up just switching over to https://zcal.co and it has been great so far. All these other scheduling tools end up trying to do too much and always seem to end up a bit clunky and charge absurd amounts for it

  • Start your own (side) business with open-source in mind
Cal.com is an open-source event-juggling scheduler for everyone, and is free for individuals. - Source: dev.to / 4 months ago
  • Fellow HSP entrepreneurs, how do you manage your energy and stress?
I force clients who want to talk to me to book a call. I use cal.com (free) and my Google Calendar (which its linked to) only allows calls on specific days/times. I have a few "Call Blocks" where they can book. That let's me do calls in a small section of my week, with ample downtime to recover the rest of the week. I'm still learning how many calls a day I can handle. Currently anything more than 2 is too much. Source: 7 months ago

I like to do HIIT with body weight. Admittedly, I've been off the wagon for awhile, but this site kept things interesting for me: https://darebee.com. - Source: Hacker News / 4 months ago

  • Hobby ideas
Darebee is a great resource for free at home exercises. I’ve worked with personal trainers to great results but I still use a lot of resources from that site to get a light exercise in on days I feel like crap or I’m so dang tight or spastic I can’t do more. Source: 7 months ago
  • How do I convince my wife to weight train?
As a 36F, nearing 40, I have been reading and listening to more information about working out at this age and a lot of studies have found weight training to be far more beneficial as you age and cardio actually less helpful and causes more stress to your body. If she likes cardio, maybe have her try some Metcons that use weights too. It’s like lifting weights, but faster lol. DAREBEE is a great source! Try looking... Source: 12 months ago
