I tried using https://cal.com for a bit but ended up just switching over to https://zcal.co and it has been great so far. All these other scheduling tools end up trying to do too much and always seem to end up a bit clunky and charge absurd amounts for it

  • Start your own (side) business with open-source in mind
Cal.com is an open-source event-juggling scheduler for everyone, and is free for individuals. - Source: dev.to / 4 months ago
  • Fellow HSP entrepreneurs, how do you manage your energy and stress?
I force clients who want to talk to me to book a call. I use cal.com (free) and my Google Calendar (which its linked to) only allows calls on specific days/times. I have a few "Call Blocks" where they can book. That let's me do calls in a small section of my week, with ample downtime to recover the rest of the week. I'm still learning how many calls a day I can handle. Currently anything more than 2 is too much. Source: 7 months ago

  • Ask HN: Where can I find good legal documents?
Unfortunately, I don't know of any resource besides an attorney that would help with a custody issue. I'm sure that's rough, and I hope things turn out as well as possible for your friend and their family. • AITA for being unwilling to sign a prenup?
Third: A prenup is NOT automatically bad. It should be a chance to go over all the things, responsabilities and plans you laid out here in a step by step logical manner. Prenups are a living document that should idealy be created by both parties (legalzoom). Maybe look at: https://helloprenup.com/ (created by a f-f couple). • Prenups: what are your opinions?
I think prenups are amazing for giving people transparency about life expectations and monetary affairs so there isn't secret debt hiding. And, now pre-nups are pretty cheap! I got mine at Hello Prenup (https://helloprenup.com). Source: almost 2 years ago
