Blocking the domain often is a reason however most often names of computer games are trade market then you could let the lawyer speak if someone put a gaming website online with the name of your game. I have a PS4 Activision Account with 5000 COD Points on it. I want to use it on Xbox. So I download this game on Xbox and click Start and there is no Login for me to enter my Activision credentials. Bethesda will likely never open source Skyrim, the game engine would need to be recreated from scratch. This has actually been done for Morrowind with the OpenMW project so it is quite possible it could be done for Skyrim as well.
