Privacy-oriented alternatives to Google Analytics
Simple Analytics was my original second contender for the analytics of this blog. The $19 a month starting plan with 100k pageviews is on the more expensive side, but their yearly deal gets you a better price than Fathom at just $9 a month.
Lightweight alternatives to Google Analytics
One is the minimalist Simple Analytics product, which is a cloud-based tool created by solo developer Adriaan van Rossum; it has a clean-looking interface with only the few key metrics, similar to Plausible. Another is Fathom, which was open source initially, but the current version is proprietary (although the company hopes to start maintaining the open-source code base...

  • Alternatives to scrolling Reddit?
Meditation. try the calm app or calm.com for sleep stories or sleep body scans. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Redeeming Benefit via App Store?
If I purchase the Calm membership through the app store, will the rebate still post? I saw in the details it specified "calm.com." Does anyone know for sure? Source: over 1 year ago
  • [NeedAdvice] 1 Thinking too much is destroying my life. How can I shut down thinking and start living outside of my head?
I found Waking Up to require more effort than calm.com (or headspace). The latter apps tend to focus on simple things: e.g. Focus on your breathing whereas Waking Up is actually much more about challenging your beliefs of what it even means to exist. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Some Free Dumps for you Guys + Selling Calm.com 1 Year Family Account
Also for now I am selling Calm.com 1 Year Family Account for $7. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Yoga as an exjw
I don't do full yoga but trying out calm.com and just some mind clearing meditation daily is great for unclenching the upper stomach muscles around the diaphragm that you don't realize clench from day-to-day stress. I remember wanting to try it when I was younger because I've always had an issue with holding onto anger and frustration but was told the whole "emptying your mind lets Satan in" business. • SaasRock v0.5.0 - Cookie consent and built-in Analytics
SaasRock does not intend to invent the wheel, there are great analytics solutions out there, both free and powerful. But SaasRock’s main goal is to have everything you need when building SaaS applications, at least in a minimal way. - Source: dev.to / almost 2 years ago
  • Italian watchdog bans use of Google Analytics
Regarding forbidden countries, it’s not forbidden in the Netherlands, yet. They will announce a verdict in a form of a report by the end of 2022 [1]. To give people an option and pink something else over Google Analytics, I have built an alternative, Simple Analytics [2]. It doesn’t use cookies or any form of tracking and you get still the useful data that 80% of the website owners need. [1]... - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago
  • Italian watchdog bans use of Google Analytics
It is. Most startups in the EU have to use more and more businesses in the EU. The selection is little, so way more changes to succeed if your EU based and serve both markets. I run Simple Analytics [1], which is a privacy-first analytics business from the Netherlands. I see a lot of business from the EU just because we are from the EU as well. • French data protection update: Google Analytics is (still) illegal
Btw it would be cool if we (https://simpleanalytics.com/) could be added to the alternatives section. Didn't know this subreddit existed for a while, but will try to update once in a while about the state of Google Analytics. There is a lot coming for it. Source: about 2 years ago
  • An Update in case you missed it
As an alternative, and im not affiliated with these guys, but simpleanalytics.com has been great for me with their focus on privacy. Source: about 2 years ago
