Pretty much everything beyond our solar system is essentially fixed on a human timescale. Over 2000 years, a typical star will move about half a degree. That's the width of the moon in the sky. I'm looking for data and software to visualize the Apollo 17 trajectory (especially the "powered descent", lunar rendezvous and entry). I'm thinking of using celestia.
