  I find that reflecting on my experiences and going out of my way to really analyze the pitfalls and things done correctly helps a lot. I normally use coggle.it to mind map the whole experience overview and then which elements of the project seemed to be improvements and which parts where potentially poorly executed. • Does anyone know when campsites get refreshed on recreation.gov? They open available at 7am pst, but what time should I check for reserved campsites that get canceled? Is that updated as soon as it’s canceled or the next day at 7am also?

  I’ve experienced the same frustration in California. I don’t think there’s much reselling as you can’t transfer a reservation in most places, but I have met some technical people who have built bots for themselves and friends. I remember when I was young and my mom would always refresh the reservation page every day and manage to find a site eventually when someone cancels. However this doesn’t happen much more as... • Booking through recreation.gov - question/suggestions

  I have never done this personally, yet I have heard about people trying this to circumvent the system. In my opinion, this is the exact reason why its hard to find a site in the first place. It is a downward spiral. People are worried about getting a site/don't know when they can make it so they overbook, then this leads to more people doing the same until almost no one can reserve for their ideal dates.
