I thought I'd give you an update on my AI (I initially promised to post an Alpha Version "soon"). My AI is based on a medium-sized gpt-2 model I finetuned on a dataset of all mtg cards. I intentionally overfitted the model a bit, which resulted in many cards being created that already exist, but also cards that "make sense" as magic cards. To counteract the negative effects, I wrote a "validity checker", that... Source: over 1 year ago
Craiyon is a web-based art generation site that sometimes makes useable art, if you upscale it. I prefer DiffusionBee (r/DiffusionBee), which you download to your desktop and can use to slowly generate bigger, higher quality art. There are no laws about generated art right now, but I'd keep track of which ones you generate and whether you use any artist's names in the prompts in case those laws change. There are... Tangentially related: if anybody is looking for a good way to organize a library of retro emulators and games on their MacOS laptops/desktop computers then I recommend OpenEmu. It is designed from the ground up to look and feel like a Mac app. https://openemu.org/. - Source: Hacker News / 3 months ago
The Pocket is a great device, highly recommended, get the Dock if you want to buy one. While waiting, I recommend using https://openemu.org/ on your Mac to run "roms", which are files that represent old games. To get the ROMs, google for "tubrografx roms archive.org". Then for a controller on a Mac, you can use a PS4/PS5 or Xbox (One/Series), if you have one lying around. That said, I recommend buying an SN30 Pro. Source: about 1 year ago
Huh? Try http://openemu.org/ and download the experimental version (with arcade support). Source: about 1 year ago
Yeah should be pretty easy if you have the ISO or a disc copy, OpenEmu should do it without issue - https://openemu.org. Source: about 1 year ago
Hey there, for an emulation beginner and macOS user, and as an easy workaround, I'd recommend you use OpenEmu . It's a frontend for multiple Nintendo/Sega/Retro console emulators at once (Nintendo handhelds up to DS, and consoles up to Gamecube), and works completely out of the box with controller support. Best of luck! Source: about 1 year ago
