To be honest, it's another rabbit hole. In my whole experience history with these job platforms, I can 100% backup G2i as I got a dream job there and Toptal, Lemon.io, Turing, and Arc.dev are fine but people have different opinions about them, sometimes they want to charge you a lot, sometimes there is a lack of jobs, etc. It's a thing to consider, but hear this out. - Source: dev.to / 4 months ago
A 1k USD conference is not worth it for a job IMO. These conferences are pricey because they are good places for people to achieve sales. If you want to go the conference route for networking, instead you should like at cheap-but-sponsored tech conferences. Often there are people on the lookout for potential hires at the various talks/booths.
