  • Trouble with lcDOT to DOT Swap on Acala App
Never saw anything of the sort on Current Finance's website. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Wealthfront: We couldn’t verify your identity, so we can’t offer you an account.
We opened my son up a checking account at a local bank branch a few weeks ago to be able to deposit money into it to transfer to Wealthfront. We originally set him up with a Current account that he has been using since last year, but his Current account couldn't be connected to Wealthfront to transfer money into Wealthfront. By opening the local bank branch checking account he was able to transfer money from... Source: over 1 year ago
  • Is this adverse action (checking account denial)
(Usually when I read about adverse action, it's about credit. But this link makes it sound like it's broader than that. My account with Current.com didn't have anything to do with credit, other than maybe overdraft protection.). Source: over 1 year ago
  • Where ya'll headed now?
Had anyone checked out Current Bank? I just signed up with them. I’m planning to use whoever I switch to with DAS Budget. Current. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Where do I find high interest savings accounts?
Surprised nobody’s mentioned Current (https://current.com/). Their savings accounts earn 4% APY on a maximum of $6,000 (split over 3 $2,000 “pods”). I’ve had $6k in there for a few months now, and no complaints. I’m assuming referral links are frowned upon in this sub, but PM me if you want one - it’s one of those “$50 for you, $50 for me” deals. • Discussion Megathread for those considering other options. Let me know what I can do to help.
Has anyone thought about using Digit's bank account? Seems like it has a lot of similar features to One/Simple. I'm definitely intrigued! https://digit.co/. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Wealthfront adds "Cash Categories", very similar to Goals and Safe-to-Spend
Also, just want to point out for anyone else who's reading that I'm not sure how well this would work for microbudgeting — e.g. gas, food, power bill, etc. — feels like that would be tedious to use with this UI. For me, I'm just setting aside rent, an emergency fund, credit card payments, and "fun money" so they're separate from my main balance. It's more like Digit than YNAB. Source: about 3 years ago
