  We opened my son up a checking account at a local bank branch a few weeks ago to be able to deposit money into it to transfer to Wealthfront. We originally set him up with a Current account that he has been using since last year, but his Current account couldn't be connected to Wealthfront to transfer money into Wealthfront.   (Usually when I read about adverse action, it's about credit. But this link makes it sound like it's broader than that. My account with Current.com didn't have anything to do with credit, other than maybe overdraft protection.). Source: over 1 year ago

• Where do I find high interest savings accounts?

  Surprised nobody’s mentioned Current (https://current.com/). Their savings accounts earn 4% APY on a maximum of $6,000 (split over 3 $2,000 “pods”). I’ve had $6k in there for a few months now, and no complaints. I’m assuming referral links are frowned upon in this sub, but PM me if you want one - it’s one of those “$50 for you, $50 for me” deals.
