  Just use gooogle docs , no advantage of paying for notetakers now. Would suggest to try other approach of using internal search tools which can help you search all info at once rtaher than going into rabbit hole of choosing the best notetaking app .   Obsidian is really good - I would suggest to look at a different approach rather than having best/efficient workflow try a different approach of having fastest workflow i.e try internal information search tools like glean , www.usefindr.com , dashworks.ai . • Some notes on local-first development

  I built Mochi [0] from the ground up to be local first. The architecture is built around pouchdb for the local database which syncs to and from a remote couchdb database. It's been a challenge to implement and in hindsight I wonder if it was even worth it. Unfortunately neither of these technologies are very widely used any more (if they ever were).
