Grab this file. Install Transmission on Mac or Deluge on Win. Optional: run a VPN if you're in the US(mostly) and worried about your ISP sending you a cease-and-desist notice. Open the file using the app you installed. Wait. It should start within a minute or two and download progress will be seen. Speed depends on how many people are sharing it. Any issues, let me know. I started using DisplayFusion (displayfusion.com) with Windows 2000 when I got a second monitor. Windows is just awful with multiple monitors. That hasn't improved as far as I can tell. Source: over 2 years ago
DisplayFusion, displayfusion.com, there is a free version without all the paid features. I've had it for years. I think it's $29 per pc or $44 for unlimited home use.
