• Tools for documenting solar and power system changes for permits

  I used GIMP (https://www.gimp.org) and Dia Diagram Editor (http://dia-installer.de) I can't say I was very happy with either for what I was doing (laying out mount points for solar panels) FreeCAD (https://www.freecad.org) looks like a good option as does Inkscape but I believe it has a high learning curve. And now suddenly get several promotional spam emails per day from some 4-5 different domains like instana.com, datadoghq.com, snyk.io, cockroachlabs.com (some of them send even multiple emails per day!).   We're commonly doing this with logging, using services such as Loggly or DataDog. We're using managed databases, be it on AWS, Heroku or database-vendor-specific solutions.
