For Saas, basic things is to get a company setup, ideally a LLC in Delaware (through Stripe/Doola), all the tax, payments all those things can be then maintained through stripe itself. Source: 9 months ago
Neither do I enjoy doing these tasks nor wasting time in the back and forth. Hence, better to have everything centralized. doola.com has gained a good reputation and what is striking is that they have their own banking solution which is very valuable for US non-residents like us because other companies like Atlas, Firstbase dont help with opening a bank account. A physical address is not needed. Get a service provider like doola.com who provides you with a registered agent and virtual business address for less than $200/year. Source: about 1 year ago
I'm in the need for an advisor or lawyer that can help me form an LLC in the US. I've look into some online options such as stripe atlas, doola.com, legalzoom.com and clerky.com however the state fees vary from state to state and I don't know which one is the best option. Source: over 1 year ago
If they are W2 or 1099, look at gusto.com, but I would encourage you to speak with a CPA so they can best advise you on your situation. If you do things wrong, it could put you in a lot of legal trouble. Source: over 1 year ago

W2 employee - More complicated to setup but there are lots of great services like Gusto that do pretty much everything for you. Then you just run payroll and taxes are taken out of his check. Source: over 1 year ago
Third - the 1099. If you have a consulting contract, then you don't have to pay taxes for the individual. The consulting contract will clearly state that they are responsible for all taxes, including self-employment taxes. I still use a payroll service (gusto.com in my case, but whatever floats your boat) to pay contractors, that way someone else is taking care of the 1099s and such, which can be a pain in the ass.
