  • Install mutiple Erlang and Elixir with vfox
If you've been using asdf to manage and maintain multiple versions of Erlang and Elixir, then vfox is also a good choice for you. - Source: dev.to / 2 months ago
  • Perfect Elixir: Environment Setup
I’m on MacOS and erlang.org, elixir-lang.org, and postgresql.org all suggest installation via Homebrew, which is a very popular package manager for MacOS. - Source: dev.to / 3 months ago
  • Reliability in Legacy Software
But regardless of their reasons, they'll note that the service is easily meeting its SLOs. It was written in a highly performant, if idiosyncratic language, and uses patterns which give it a high level of resilience and the ability to recover from many situations automatically. The service is steady as a rock, and left to its own devices will more or less chug along indefinitely once deployed. - Source: dev.to / 3 months ago
  • Meet entr, the standalone file watcher
As you might have guessed, one of the main use cases for entr is to rerun tests whenever files change. I'm an Elixir engineer, and I use entr to run mix test continuously whenever I save an Elixir file. - Source: dev.to / 8 months ago
  • Good Bye CRUD APIs, Hello Sync: Realtime PostgreSQL with ElectricSQL
The diagram demonstrates the communication pathway between the browser and the Postgres database through the Electric service. Essentially, Electric Sync Service, an Elixir application, orchestrates active-active data replication between the user's local DB and Postgres. - Source: dev.to / 8 months ago

  • New Firefox privacy feature strips URLs of tracking parameters
Firefox + uBlock Origin on mobile is great but Bromite is the way to go. Faster, more secure and built-in ad-blocking. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Stop it Reddit
Why are you using chrome though? Chrome, google app and facebook are literally the biggest trackers you need to block. Try firefox or it's forks (fennec/mull) or bromite. Bromite is based on chromium so it will be an easy switch. I personally use fennec f-droid (a fork of firefox) which is available on f-droid. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Breeze Browsers.
Cookie AutoDelete can be replaced with an always-on incognito mode similar to what Bromite has. Though I can understand keeping this one in as it gives finer control over cookies than incognito mode. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Import bookmarks into Vanadium browser?
I don't think you can do that at the moment. Bromite has an import/export bookmarks feature but I don't know if you will be able to import your existing file. Source: almost 3 years ago
