   The best cloud platform out there

   You could say a lot of things about AWS, but among the cloud platforms (and I've used quite a few) AWS takes the cake. It is logically structured, you can get through its documentation relatively easily, you have a great variety of tools and services to choose from [from AWS itself and from third-party developers in their marketplace]. There is a learning curve, there is quite a lot of it, but it is still way easier than some other platforms. I've used and abused AWS and EC2 specifically and for me it is the best.

   👎 Cons:    Learning curve|A lot of dashboards for different things

  Thank you for the envoyer.io recommendation - I use Laravel Forge - do you know if they have something similar. Regarding symlinks I'm not sure if you're referring to a folder somewhere on my local system - which of course will not be practical when pushing live or to remote - however one way I have been attempting to do this is to fork vendor folders and then pull using composer for the latest commit..   Envoy is also great, but won't solve your zero downtime or rollback requirments on its own. There is Laravel Envoyer (similar name, different product) which will fulfill those requirements, but it has a (small) cost attached. Source: over 2 years ago
