• Ask HN: Does anyone here use Haxe?

  The person who made Haxe (Nicolas Canesse) went on to found Shiro Games (https://shirogames.com), a game development company. I believe all their games are made in Haxe. The latest one, "Dune: Spice Wars" was released this September and Google says the engine is HashLink (https://hashlink.haxe.org/) which is a VM for Haxe.   While I understand the idea and intentions it isn't practical. Our leaderboard is a 1:1 reflection of the actual game leaderboard (which funnily enough can't be browsed inside the game) that you can also see on ageofempires.com. Source: over 1 year ago
