  Forth has integers and that's about it. You can have words that interpret the integers and e.g. Show you characters instead, but it's usually just a thin cover over the numbers. The JVM is stack-based and static typing rather common in the languages that runs on it. Factor has dynamic typing, though I haven't thought much about that, it kind of stays in the background.   Factor is also very much worth a look. Forth-style syntax, but with many of the ideas from CL and Smalltalk as well. In fact as a CL fan, I was very impressed by it. It's also quite "batteries included" a la Python. Source: about 1 year ago

  Is there any "battery-included" ANS Forth (more or less like Python/Go) which provides access to concurrency, networking, database, GUI, etc? Not an embedded device programmer, but mostly deals with frontend apps, and occasionally backend, so those are very relevant to me.   If you want to show polygons it is a bit more difficult. With the above map functions you can create a Choropleth map by using predefined regions (like countries, states etc.). But for custom polygons it won't work. You can either use ArcGIS Online in combination with the ArcGIS Maps for Power BI viz or use the Mapbox Visual function (you need to install this one first by pressing "Get more visuals"). You can...
