   Azuracast is Gold

   I used Centova cast before switching to Azuracast and all I can say is that this software is worth praise and efforts to better it. It offers everything Centova does and even goes and extra mile. The dashboard is pretty straightforward and my playlists always play. One needs to really know what they are doing setting up schedules and tweaking liquidsoap settings. Live broadcasts are seamless too. I use BUTT/ Sam Broadcaster/Radio Dj. And to imagine that this is all open source... major respect to the developers. 5 * from me.

   It is the Worst

   Nothing Works. The edit function does not work. The fade in and fade out function is non existent. The Playlists and scheduled shows never happen. It is honest a total crap shoot as to what works and what does not using this awful program. I cannot believe it is legal to resell it. Its mind blowing how bad it is and its because its a crap shoot as to what works or not.

  The fact that Handbrake doesn't expose the same features as the ffmpeg CLI tool is frankly irrelevant. It's not just relevant, it's the whole thing. They asked for an ffmpeg GUI and someone recommended a GUI that doesn't use ffmpeg and doesn't do what ffmpeg can do.   Ffmpeg is a free (GPL) program and library that does pretty much everything video-related, from recording to editing. It has some learning curve for things beyond just converting a file 1:1, but as a library, many programs such as OBS, Blender, Shotcut, Drawpile and KDEnLive implements it for tasks such as rendering and recording videos out of them. • Advice needed for my own music/radio server.

  Recently tried azuracast to do something similar yo what you did. I have it running as a docker on my raspberrry pi and it streams music on my local network accessible on any device. I believe it can be used to run an actual radio station live but I havent dug that deep into it yet.
