Thanks so much for this informative reply. I never knew about this test. In fact I’m having a gastroscope/colonoscopy in a month and I’m going to ask if they can test me for SIBO. Apparently sampling and culturing is the gold standard for this test. I also take it that taking probiotics is probably not the best idea!? What do you think about https://foodmarble.com ? I have never been testing for SIBO, no. I am not too sure how to go about it as I’ve never looked into it. But I will! I did see a website a few weeks ago which tests for it website. I will pursue it, particularly hearing the methane may have been linked to the nausea! Source: over 1 year ago
