I also agree with what you say about the cost. I’d love to have more art in my home - real paintings, not cheap prints from Fine Art America etc. - but even local artists here in my decaying minor city in the rust belt charge $400 and more for a canvas. Use sketchup (it's free) to model it, then you can go to hubs.com or shapeways to get a quote on a 3D printed part. If it's gonna be out of the sun, you can probably get by with PLA. Otherwise use PETG for higher heat resistance. Source: over 1 year ago
