  I also agree with what you say about the cost. I’d love to have more art in my home - real paintings, not cheap prints from Fine Art America etc. - but even local artists here in my decaying minor city in the rust belt charge $400 and more for a canvas. For programming ,apart from tutorials the thing that helps best is practice , If you want to practice then I recommend hackerrank.com to test your understanding of programming concepts.
