We're using bash as our terminal shell for now (it is standard in many distros) but it is not the only one out there. Https://www.manager.io/ and bookipi.com are both decent options too, if your just looking to track who has payed and who has not + how much you have total made bookipi will sync with your chosen bank account. But there are so many options out there, lots of them with free trials so give them all a go and see what works for you best. Source: over 2 years ago

I think this is one of the simplest, easiest to set up and cost-effective invoicing solutions for a small business.
