You can try FL Studio for free, by downloading the trial from their website (https://image-line.com) I think its a forever trial, and you have access to all the stock plugins, its just restricted in various ways (you can't open saved projects, for instance) but if your just trying DAW's on for size, that won't matter. It's pretty bad sometimes. I've too often typed the artist name followed by the song name, all spelled correctly and not special characters like dashes or anything and it shows up waaay down in the results or seemingly not at all sometimes. Usually it's more obscure songs but not always. As a fallback I have sometimes had to resort to searching on song.link and then following the apple music to open in AM. It's nuts.
