  • Any teachers here who get their teaching materials online?
I like this site for flashcards, no login required: https://learnenglishkids.britishcouncil.org/flashcards Also, I recommend getting a library card at you local library for story books. You'll need to bring your id and an id-sized photo of your face. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Students with little to no English
I just do my pleasantries and then share the British Council Flashcards for Kids page https://learnenglishkids.britishcouncil.org/flashcards - I use them even with adults. • first time tutoring i didnt do well
    2) If they are real beginners, whether they are adults or children, use some of these flashcards https://learnenglishkids.britishcouncil.org/flashcards and see if they can read the words and answer simple questions about the pictures. That usually makes 20 minutes fly by at least ;) There are many other really good resources on the British Council website. Source: about 2 years ago

Have you seen wip.chat... I'm not really suggesting it (since they charge you money) but same idea of posting goal points/checkboxes. Source: about 1 year ago
