Typography: I don't think that compressed sans serif font is very exciting. I know the topic of the poster is pretty bland, but this is a school project. You should be showing off your creativity. Consider choosing two different fonts, one for the headers and one for the body copy. I know you are still learning, so type pairings might not be an intuitive process for you yet. I find that reflecting on my experiences and going out of my way to really analyze the pitfalls and things done correctly helps a lot. I normally use coggle.it to mind map the whole experience overview and then which elements of the project seemed to be improvements and which parts where potentially poorly executed.
